I call it the race to the bottom. Every topic page is starting to look the same, so how can you make yours stand out. Here's the first post on the Content Strategies blog that will show you how to improve topic pages on your site.

For our hot topics section, we are experimenting with a new idea. We select items from the hottest trends/searches in the real time web, and create dynamic topic pages based on those searches. Sometimes it works well, other times, not so well. We're continuing to experiment, so let me know what you think.

Since so much important news breaks mid-day in real time, we've created a new section called 'Hot Topics' that will create dynamic pages about trending topics intraday. Check it out and let me know what you think!

The HD Centre, based in Geneva, Switzerland has just launched an innovative community portal called Peacetalks.

Very cool - check it out! It was built with the help of NewsCred, and you'll notice a lot of interesting contextual content, twitter integration etc.

Check out this site that just launched - its for Cruise lovers to meet before the cruise!

Site is called http://www.meetoncruise.com. Not too many points for name creativity, but I like that! Its an interesting concept - let's see if it takes off.
